Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi Pickup from New Delhi Airport, and transfer to hotel. Delhi, India’s capital is an exciting and bustling city with tons of historic sights , museum and galleries , and endless bazaars. There is more to see and do than you could possibly fit in during your time here.
Day 2: Sekhawati Often referred to as open art gallaery of Rajasthan. The region of Shekhawati are eminent for their incredible painted havelis ( merchant’s House). We visit some these exquisitely carved havelis with frescos depicting mythological themes and that of daily life in old times
Day 3: Bikaner This major trading centre on the old caravan route from Central Asia, Bikaner houses magnificent forts and palaces which bear testimony of its rich cultural and architectural history. The city is also renown for its best riding camels in the world
Day 4 & 5: Jaiselmer Rising from the heart of Thar desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisermer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sand stone dominate the city.
During your stay wonder through twisting alleys in search old Jain temple and brilliantly carved havelis and drive into the heart of Thar to visit a remote villages of Kuldara to uncover the life of people who call this desert their home .
Day 6: Jodhpur Head on to the blue city of Jodhpur. Afternoon visit the magnificent fort of Mehrangarh. Free time to explore in the flamboyant market, one of the oldest markets in India around the clock tower.
Day 7: Chandelao Drive into the heart of rural Rajasthan to small village of Chandelao which offers a great chance to the see village life. We stay in a 300 year old fort, the Chandelao Garh, which belongs to the Takhur of the village, Praduman Singh
Day 8: Pushkar Situated on the bank of Holy lake , this picturesque town is a great pilgrimage centre for Hindus . this holy town houses the only Bhrama ( God of creation) temple in the world. Free time to realx and soak the atmosphere of this scène town. Walk around in the colorful markets and hike to Savitri temple to catch breathtaking views.
Day 9 & 10: Jaipur The pink city of Jaipur city is famous for its Marvelous architecture and town planning. You drive through fabulous pink city with its colourful bustling Bazaar and Hawa Mahal to visit magnificent Amber Fort where you can have the experience of traveling on elephant back to the top of the hill where the fort is situated. Also visit the largest observatory in India and various museums inside the City . Free time to Wonder around the old city with its colourful shops, latticed windows houses and rose pink colour streets or watch a Bollywood Movie sitting back in the art deco splendour of the Raj Mandir Cinema.
Day 11: Agra Travel to Arga, home to the Mughal kings for centuries. Watch the sunset over reputedly the most beautiful building in the world, the sublime Taj Mahal.
Day 12: Delhi Morning drive back to Delhi. Visit the lovely Mugal monument of Sikandra en route. Transfer to International airport on Arrival
