Day 1: Kolkata
Kolkata ,once the capital of British India, is an exciting, busy, sometimes chaotic city and certainly one of the most intense . With its British architecture, its trams and, of course, the river with its famous Howrah Bridge, Kolkata is a vibrant and exciting city with
plenty to offer.
Day 2: Sleeper train Guwahati
Explore the wonders of this charismatic colonial city on the morning city tour. Visit Victoria Memorial, Flower market, Mother Terassa Home and numerous splendid ancient churches and colonial building.
Day 3 & 4: Manas National Park
Manas National Park in Assam is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas and a part of it continues across the international border into Bhutan. With its picturesque surroundings and incomparable wealth of wildlife offers one of the most enthralling experiences. The
sanctuary also a world heritage site is home to a great variety of wildlife, including tiger, golden langur, wild buffalo, hispid hare, pigmy hog, capped langur, , elephant, gaur, hog deer, etc.Day 5 & 6: Nemeri National Park
Nameri National Park covering an area of about 200sq. kms is located at the foothills of eastern Himalayas. Nameri is a haven for many rare animals. The rich wildlife includes Tiger, Black bear, elephant, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian wild dog,
deer, Civet Cat, Capped Langur, Jackals etc. Various species of birds such as the endangered white winged wood duck, four species of Hornbill, butterflies and reptiles are also found here.
Day 6 & 7: Kaziranga National Park
This highly reputed wildlife protected area is home to more than 70% of the worlds one-horned rhino, Eastern Swamp Deer and wild Asiatic water buffalo population. Take elephant safari to discover its rice wildlife.
Day 8: Dibrugarh
One of the oldest towns of Assam, the region is famous for its tea gardens. It is blessed with abundance of bird species, thanks to its very pleasant and moderate climate and lush green reserve forest.
Day 9, 10 & 11: Nampada National Park
Situated on the far eastern part of India, bordering Burma, is undoubtedly the most unexplored and magical national park. With the altitude ranging from 400 mts to 4000 mts, its the only park in the world with houses all big four Cats: Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard and
Snow leopard. This house to Gibbons and many other endangered species of mammals, birds and reptiles.
Day 12: Catch a flight to Kolkata
Travel to Dibrugarh and catch a flight back to Kolkotta. Free evening to further explore this intense city.
